I would love for your car to sell for more than I predicted as it would ultimately help raise the value of mine (all of ours for that matter), but I just don't see it happening. If you can't handle the truth, you shouldn't have asked peoples opinions

Plenty of mild mods on my car but nothing that cant be undone in a few hours of spanner turning. Its nasty styling mods that wreck your car, the folk that add all manner of tupperware to their rears. There's plenty of classic MG's and such like running mild mods, extra cooling, uprated heads etc. it does nothing to harm resale value unless the buyer is a) a bearded real ale drinker with a penchant for pipe smoking or b) a concours d'elegance judge with no friends Another factor is that mods become so much more acceptable when they are overcoming shortcomings of the original design.
