Recommend me a good MP3/USB headunit #854059

I am currently looking to purchase a new headunit.

I am looking for a headunit with MP3/WMA etc playback and a USB input on the front panel.

Oh and it must be less than £120 or so.

My last one was a Sony CDXGT434U and whilst I liked the ease of use I have heard better in the sound department. It was very good but not exceptional.

Can anyone suggest an alternative that isn't a Sony?

Cheers.

Is this one any good?

I bought this JVC:

I like it, better than my Kenwood unit I had in the Coupe. Quite a few features as well, plus it has a 3.5mm jack on the front which is useful!

Go for Alpine or Pioneer. The best IMO smile

I went for a similar Alpine and am very pleased with the sound quality. I was impressed with the increase in sound quality even with the standard frount speakers!

I have an Alpine too, was around 130 pounds. Sound is great and easy to set-up. Bugger is that you cant see the << and >> button together with the volume button because your knee/leg is in the way (due to the mid console which is close to the throttle pedal) This is on LHD cars, i dunno for RHD. I also think every radio with the << >> + vol button on the left has this problem
