Hello everyone! I’ve been viewing the forum for a month or so now and thought it would be best to introduce myself before contributing to any threads. I’m a 21 y/o Automotive Design student and I’ve owned my 1997 20vt for coming up to three weeks. So far it’s been good to me. smile

It’s a totally standard example with relatively low mileage so I aim to keep it original. It needs a few bits and bobs doing such as new bonnet struts and a wheel refurb but otherwise I’m very happy with it!

That’s about it and I’ll look forward to learning more about my coupe from this place! driving

During my first week of owning it I think the bonnet was up 3 times a day wink

Coupe paranioa is easing off slightly now but it'll always be at the back of my mind!

I might be tempted by a nice subtle exhaust to make the most of the superb sound cloud9 but other than that I cant see any modifications happening.

I just need a good dent removal guy to get the passenger door up to standard and maybe a paint correction one day and then the exterior will be as good as new laugh

Yes, keep it standard. A stainless exhaust is permitted but please no chav dustbin diameter pipes.

Welcome , by the way.

Yep thats the same as me, drivers door has a few little dents which need sorting. Last night I took the door card off in the hope that hopefully I can push one or two out from the inside, we shall see over the weekend.

No no, I'll be aiming for a standard looking tail pipe if I go ahead with one. It looks like we have the same colour car if your signature picture is anything to go by. Great taste!

I thought about doing the same. I might take a look and see what's what. It all depends on the cost of a pro doing it I guess.
