nick_d OP My life on the forum Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 1,829 kidderminster	Anyone know what the standard head gasket thickness is on the 16vt?? trying to find out why my compression results are a little low??? 105 112 112 105 ?? head gasket has been done around 2 weeks ago using 1.9 mm spesso gasket.... is this any thinner/thicker than standard?? Saint My life on the forum Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 1,895 New Zealand	I have that gasket as well, apparently it is thicker, so drops CR. I think the OE one is about 1.3-1.4mm Will try and fine where I read it, might have been from trevor (Nyssa)

Scuderia My life on the forum Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 1,580 Melbourne, Australia	No it would not, that difference would not drop the test value so far. Did you do the test with the throttle open and fuel shut off? Standard gasket is 1.9mm.
