Been thinking about what video to do at this meet. Perhaps we could do a 'what mods you can get for coops and what they do' (No, not mod, mods ..... modifications!).

Interior / exterior mods, the examples/benefits of and approximate cost. Should be quite an informative vid for youtube land

Sorry but I definitely won't be there now. Monaro is poorly.. suspected broken piston.

Going to find out for sure later this week, but whichever way it looks like a bill to make even Proccy wince, and I certainly can't take it to Cosford until it's sorted

sorry to hear that dave, what sort of price you looking at?

If it is a piston as expected it could be around £6k if there's bore damage, and that's if I don't get an intercooler (which I possibly should do). The intercooler, parts only, is around £3k! It may not be that bad though, I'm going to get a compression check done - there's a chance it's "just" cam/lifter. There's also a chance that it is a piston, but the bore is fine - in which case it'll only be a £2k bill.. though, there's still the argument that I might need the intercooler!

Either way, I'm not very happy right now

And all that after I tore a ligament in my foot, I've only just returned to work and couldn't even drive the bloody car for 2 weeks!

Aye, and in you I know I'm speaking with someone who's been there done that! I'm not too down about it, I don't even know it's definitely a piston yet - could even just be tappets (though the evidence is against it atm). I'll just deal with whatever it is once I know.. err.. what it is
