Door seals aren't too good then! Impressed he managed to do that without collecting a cylinder full of water and hydraulicing it.

Driving in water isn't difficult - you have to let the car move at its own pace - if you try to force it, you just make a huge bow-wave and you end up getting water ingress

I've driven the Coupe through floods that had water coming part way up the bonnet shocked

I've had the Range Rover in water up to the windscreen shocked shocked

Also bear in mind that it's mid-engined so the bow wave it cuts will keep the water level down in the engine bay.
