go for it because it will drop big time next year (if you dont crash that is) then if you want to get insured on any other car from then on it will be cheap as chips

i'm 20 have 3 points, 3 years no claims i pay £1400 because i pay monthly if i wasnt paying monthly it would of been £1200 on my 20vt. So your charge of 500 does seem abit harsh. i'm with adrian flux.

mmm am 21 4 years no claims with a 20vt LE told them about all the toys on it and its 300bhp, wait for it £900 and thats payin montly over 10 monthes got 2 monthes free

but recently moved to more than...now im 23 and i pay £36 a month...with parnter included! Ideal!

I am 31 with 4 years no claims and no points or convictions....my quote with Zurich, fully comp on both a 20VT and my current BMW 3 series (03 plate slow piece of crap) is £1200 and thats with breakdown, courtesy car extension and all the other bells and whistles.

Adrian flux wanted more than £800 just for the coop and wouldnt quote me for both cars.......cant be the area as I live in a low crime area of northamptonshire. As far as I'm concerned they stick their fingers in the air when quoting for car insurance.

I was just turned 21 when I got mine with 1 year driving experience and NCB. Flux were one of the few people who would quote me at all with all the mods declared, I paid £1200 the first year and £1000 the second year.
