My previous rocker cover was Sprint Blue, but was looking a bit worse for wear and the coil pack cover was black, but was flaking off and was starting to look a bit of a mess, as they'd been done a couple of years ago, in a rush Got a spare rocker cover and painted it Sprint Blue again, but decided to polish the writing and the coil pack cover. It's taken me hours/days to do the coil pack cover and to be honest, you can see scratches, but I was absolutely sick of rubbing it down and polishing it I'll never do another one as it's taken ages and still not perfect. I'm happy with how it looks though and an improvement on my previous flaking covers, so here's some photos, while it still looks nice

I know you are a mod but the paint looks pants. Rocker cover looks good though. Lol, just because I'm a Mod, doesn't mean I can do a good paint job The paint was brushed on, while in the garden, with a cheap B&Q brush. It's an engine part that needed tidying up. I'm not going to spend a fortune getting aerosols to do it properly or pay a bodyshop to do it for me. Although, don't understand your comment? You say the paint looks pants, but the rocker cover looks good? Do you mean the coil pack cover looks good?

Hi T,i think it looks really good aspecially the polished coil cover to say you have done it yourself!! I have recently had my strutbrace, heatshield, and rocker cover polished and my rocker as scrathes on when you are close up!!
But you will find when the sun hits the engine bay and you stand back a bit it will look the nuts!! Mine did on saturday at brooklands!! Well i thought so anyway and thats all that matters!!

I may change the oil cap eventually, but not too bothered at the moment. Yours looks very nice though Per. All I wanted to do was tidy it a bit, which I've now done, so will probably stay like that for a couple of years now

looks good to me theresa , just give the plug cover a polish every now and then and the scratchs will start to go and you should have used spray paint you would have had a better finish but hey it looks good , A+ .
