Just wondering what everyone has thrown at the coop money wise?
Major engine mods, transplants, styling???
I'm thinking of fabricating a brand new dash btw!

It depends what expenditure you want to measure.

I have a log of all my major expenditure, EXCLUDING fuel, insurance, tax and tyres (working on the safe assumption that I'd have had to buy these no matter what I drove)

Since 11/09/93, I've spend £30,808 shocked EDIT - oops, typo - 11/09/2003 rolleyes

This includes seventeen shocked services at Motormech, 10 pairs of front discs and 12 pairs of front pads, two engine rebuilds and £2,566 on mapping

As soon as you include fuel, oil, tyres, insurance and tax, the numbers start to get very daunting - I reckon I'm looking at over £75,000 over the last 6.5 years

Ha I got to do this for a giggle...

Not including the cars purcahse...

I think it's around £2400 in 18 months!

It really does help when you do your own work on the car!!

I think John's (TipoBoy) expenditure may well be approaching some of the figures mentioned on this thread ooo

Can't compete with some of the figures thrown up in this thread but after some quick adding up if I'd have saved everything I've spent on the Coupe since I bought it, I'd nearly have enough for a real Integrale - but what would be the fun in that?

In 3 and a half years (Not including fuel or insurance), and coming up to 40,000 miles, I have spent a frankly pathetic £2,957.21.

Hmm i spent a fair bit in the past 6,5 years I've had this coupe. Purchase was around 17k euro (which was good value at the time!). Since then I probably spent around 12k euro on maintenance and upgrades (not including fuel, insurance, etc.). It needs a bit of work again, so will become more soon!

Bought mine a year ago for £3k

Have spent approaching £2.5k in a year on her, although half of this was on an engine rebuild rolleyes, so all in all not three bad!

Bloody hell, what some peeps have spent, tuning the Coupe is not for me or worth it in ££££'s or fragility IMO.

June 2005 bought the Coupe for £4100. 28,000m driven

Since:

Mechanics: Clutch, Belts, total new front suspension, dump valve, strut brace and basic service every year.

Bling: alloy rings, wheel refurb, new sun visors, gear knob, plus rad grill

3 sets of front tyres and 1 set of rears

Oh, will getting roof resprayed as going fractal white in basecoat so another £250/300 at end of this month and need new rear radius arm bearings (?) at next service.

For a a fast good looking car budget motoring!
