We have not booked any meals in the Hotel other than B'fast. We discussed it and got menus sent through. To be honest we thought the choice was limited and also a little expensive. We decided it would be best to leave it so people could choose where & what they wanted to eat when they are at Spa.

If anyone is going via Calais be aware that the exit from the A15 onto the east bound E40 (A16) is closed You will need to take the earlier west bound exit and turn arround at the next exit. If you don't you then have to take the A26 toll road and if you leave at the first exit face a (Min €1:40) charge

What time are people aiming to the to Dover for?

On the confirmation email it says you need to be checked in 45 mins before departure - so do you reckon arriving at 07:00 will be OK?

Get through Brussels ASAP, believe me you do not want to get into the Friday afternoon rush hour round the Brussels ring!

On top of that there are road works on the E40 immediately to the east of Brussels, which we need to clear as early as possible.

Brussels is only around a 2 hour drive from Dunkirk anyway.

Word of warning to the wise:

Do not fill up on fuel in Dover. It's much more expensive than Folkestone/Ashford. Cheapest town locally in Canterbury at 113.9 per litre otherwise Ashford/Folkestone are more like 117.9ish.
