Ok Guys!!

Looks like marco has got the ball rolling!
To cut a long story short most of you know that i had an accident with my RED NA in Nov Last year. In feb i purchased a Speed Red LE, unfortunatly the insurance company wouldnt insure me until my current policy had ended... its hard getting insurance when you live in london and am only 24 frown even with 4 years no claims!

Anyway the 25th isnt far now and what a great way to take the car out than a nice drive to brighton and hopefully some great company!

The sea front is going to be packed that day so heres an idea. Just past the marina is a miniture golf course with a massive carpark shall we meet there? Lets say 12pm

From there i was thinking we could park up in the marina (free if i remember from my sussex uni days!) have a pint (just one) in the marina maybe get some munch to eat as well?

Then i was thinking we could go for a nice long drive along the coast and hopefully find some really nice spots maybe in the sussex downs to take some photos?

Then those who stay out longer - we could find a nice pub and go for something to eat (yes us italians always thinking about food )

What do you all think?

I am in Brighton the following weekend, but I think if I said to my wife I am off out for a few hours to meet up with some boys on brighton pier for a cruise, it would be the end for me

thats why ive decided to bring my mrs!!! lol

Madeira drive will be mad busy on a Sunday. You'll have to park right up the end with the hippies & pikeys, sandwiched between the nudist beach & cruising area

Err, you might be slightly disappointed there

Anyway, have a good 'un. Devils Dyke is a good meet place too, up on the Downs, OR there is a free multistorey carpark in the Marina - always empty, sunny on the top floor. Next to restaurants, bars, sea views etc.

My home town. Was down in Brighton in the coop last weekend. May be up for this although with it being the weekend after latitude will see nearer the time if I'm fit for another trip!!

The chippies on the sea front are mostly rubbish, best is bankers I'm hove, on western road which runs parallel to the seafront.

I see Mario is suggesting meeting at Rottingdean (golf course, black windmill) - probably a good idea seeing as it's carnival day in Brighton so Madeira Drive will most likely be closed off.

yup we could decide after where to leave the cars and go and enjoy the festivities for a bit. im pretty sure marina parking is free and its not much of a walk to teh pier from there. otherwise there is the bus if were lazy. NCP in town will be packed and costs a fortune!
