Couldn't make Brighton, but I was on the M25 only 5 cars behind that same caravan that bought it. Amazingly sureal to see a snake develop that quickly and violently. Just no way he could hold it and incredible that those each side of him managed ot get out of the way. 10 more seconds or so and I'd have been along side him. After t-boning the central reservation it landed on its side across 2 lanes of traffic. Sick that the 5 or so cars in front just drove on not wanting to get held up. We pulled along side (albeit it making sure I wasn't behind to get stuck) to see the poor family limp out and help check ok. Couple of young kids traumatised but at least unhurt. Nice start to their holiday. Horrible to see it but very glad of the coupe's brakes when you need them.

Shame I had to zoom off to do the decorating but I did hook up with a suped up Golf GTI MK5 and showed him what Old School was all about right under the nose of a S-Max Fed , who'd already pulled someone. Sounds like you had a fun time yourselves. excellent pic's I'll post mine soon.

Ian - I'm there for the speed trials. Did look into entering, but for a bit of form filling to get the comp licence and membership of the Brighton Motor club, would not have time, and as you say, is oversubscribed anyway. Next year maybe we can get a few coops in there.
