just saw JK driving his new toy, the number plate 4 SLS is a bit of a giveaway ;-)

Will sit nicely in his garage alongside his original 300SL convertible (the gullwing without the gullwing doors!)

Mercedes SLR on the M4 this morning

And not totally sure whether an X-Type or an XJS by the side of the A40 near Savoy Circus this afternoon. Burnt out remains, just the front wing/bonnet/headlamps left, pretty well nothing behind the windscreen so looked like a soft top whether it started that way or not - ouch!

8pm last night on the A4177 between Warwick and Hatton....
LHD foreign registered 599 Fiorano. Driver was pulled in a layby standing by the car in pitch black but the Xenons were on and the car looked special from a mile away.... stunning even though it was peeing it down too......

On the A63 near Selby I keep seeing an X-plate Mini Clubman estate and a Mark I Fiesta. Wouldn't have been out of the ordinary 20 years ago but rare as rocking horse bobbins now.

I saw what I think was a Bentley Continental GT test car on Thursday last week in Aberdeen. It was the newest style which has a different front end and was on a '10 plate, but was LHD and had a couple of rather under dressed occupants smile

Also saw a pretty cool Pontiac Trans Am this afternoon near Stavanger. Sounded pretty meaty to say the least laugh

Nyssa - either you have the eyes of a hawk (See: Bravestar) or you are the luckiest chap at spotting lush cars.

P.S I saw a Ford Mustang the other day. It looked a little bit like a BOSS one, but it wasn't.

Saw a Jaguar XK120 earlier in the week, actually being driven during the evening rush-hour

The vast majority of these are museum or collector's pieces, so its pretty rare to see one actually moving under its own power

Very observant and frequent places where there are just too many nice cars to bother listing. Mustang in the carpark at Wycombe Wanderers yesterday, yellow Gallardo Spider in the car park of the Bull Hotel, GX and so on

Saw a Mondial in GX today, they are getting rarer spots

Passed by a Porsche CTR this morning. It was in pretty slow moving traffic so no sound effects.

Looked quick enough

Something weird going on - during a 1-hour journey on the M40 from Brum to High Wycombe, I was overtaken by FOUR Audi RS4s - all separately, not in convoy

Don't see one for months, then they all arrive at once. Couple of them were up for some sport, but I had a nervous passenger with me, so I held back

I seem to remember surviving Tagora's were in double figures at most, and dangerously close to being single figures. Very rare tat.
