Just for the relied I've been running the same kit for 3 years now and that's the 35w kit but the wifes astra's headlights were good in the first place so they just made em even better

Unfortunately my 55w kit has only been running 4 months BUT alls well and good so far and as their from the same seller have every faith in em

Pics? How did you mount the ballast?
Did you buy the 6000K?

A bit of a lash up but they are solid enough.
Saves stripping down the head light units.
Only took me 15 mins a side doing it this way......the clips holding the lamps in a pain though.
The lamps seem 100% better than the OEM ones.....not surprising though.
I left the motors disconnected as well....just incase I fry the motors.

The brackets are all that lets it down but for that price.....who cares.
That is why they invented zip ties anyway laugh

hi peeps i have got some 35w hids fitted this week 6000k
and have same useless brackets too! pity as the instruction manual shows a crucifix style bracket you should get!!
think my ballasts are the bigger ones as i was advised these have better insulation and protection??
its the 2nd kit i have fitted the first being 55w and i cant see any noticable difference..both much improved over std imo!!

Lazy boy laugh
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/H1-50W-55W-HID-Con...=item23086e2780

You still need to specify the type (H1) and the K factor (6000K).
Won't hurt telling them they are for a fiat coupe.....I did anyway and I got the right kit.

One question to the guys that have bought the HID kit.

I saw that the seller is based in Canada and item location is Hong Kong. Have you paid any custom fees?

OK I've been putting up with the OE lights since I bought the LE over a year ago and finally made the move with the assistance of MC Mike to some 35w 6000k HIDS. thumb
What a difference! Used some Meccano like strips to fix the ballasts to the light units as there were no brackets on them or came with them - all work brilliantly. Thanks to Nigel for his How To...... Will post fotos.....

Hmmm I've always got brackets just can be a little flimsy although vie fitted mine with said brackets and all good!!

Did you use the link I provided??

Also just to confirm I think the kits are all sent from china and the value it as a gift so no taxes to pay the price on the screen us the price you pay

Cheers

Simon
