And the results are ...

313hp / 5290rpm ( then goes lean )
423,6nm / 4100rpm

and the down low torque numbers :

2000rpm : 210nm
2500rpm : 265nm
2900rpm : 340nm
3300rpm : 400nm
3400rpm : +400nm ---> 5400rpm

pretty happy, but thats only half way results .. laugh

oh, and this was with Dink´s 280hp+ chip wink

Its the engine power.. these standard cams needs more boost for good results laugh

hopefully I can figure the wastegate problem, and use
more boost and rpms..

i think when you wind your boost up to 1.7 sort of level you may well see 350..... But i think your peak power will always be around 5500 revs and won't climb after this due to your small exhaust side of turbo.... I may be wrong?!

5500- 6000rpm I think...

with .63 garrett it was 5700-6400rpm same power.

I think, that with 1.5bar I can get 350hp / 450nm

i didn't want all the extra lag of the 63, so i've gone for a .55 exhaust housing which are very rare, but i finally found one 2 weeks ago and now have it!
hoping this will enable both power to keep climbing and boost to hold better after 5700 revs?

so is dink going right you another programme/chip after analysing you results?

Great result Jarkko and good to see the engine into life

Those low down torque figures are awesome. Below for comparsion with mine, given I have .48 T3 that is meant to be good for spool and low down torque, you are making way more power early and I doubt it will drop off much more (if any) than the .48

My torque in Nm by revs is below compared to yours, at 3000-3500 rpm you are making 100nm more and thats the .48a/r T3, by 400rpm we are somewhat back in line as the .48 has finally spoolled crazy

2000rpm 180nm JTM +30
2500rpm 190nm JTM +75
3000rpm 230nm JTM +110
3500rpm 284nm JTM +120
4000rpm 380nm JTM +20
4500rpm 405nm JTM +20
5000rpm 405nm JTM +20?
5500rpm 340nm
6000rpm 325nm
6500rpm 284nm

Is this the evo 9 turbo you ended up using? twin scroll with standard wastegate? flowed head?

Anyway excellent result - congrats, but give us some graphs or full results.

Standard evo 9 turbo, with standard wastegate
( that seems to be the problem.. )
yes twin scroll and we make Tomei style manifold to it. you can see that here :
http://s224.photobucket.com/albums/dd72/jq4tm/?action=view&current=paketti.jpg&newest=1

almost standard head. just taking the badest rocks away from there.. laugh

the scale of the RR results are funny, but here are total specs :
1600rpm hp: 41 nm: 180
2000rpm hp: 59,8 nm: 210
2500rpm hp: 94,5 nm: 265
2900rpm hp: 140 nm: 340
3300rpm hp: 188 nm: 400
3800rpm hp: 219 nm: 405
4200rpm hp: 250 nm: 418 ( around 4100/ 423,6nm )
5000rpm hp: 288 nm: 405
5300rpm hp: 313 nm: 414

I have to take the dp off, and try to make the wastegate better, and have a new program for 525cc injectors, and for more boost ...

hoping for 350 / +450 results..

Those look like really good results. 313 bhp @ 5300 rpm and 1.2 bar right?

What are all the modifications you have?

Is it possible for you to get a printout and wheel figures on your next run?

yep..

I´m going back this summer, with 1.5bar boost and
525cc injectors and Dink´s program for that.
( hoping around 340-350hp and / 450+nm )

I have :

- mitsubishi oem evo 9 turbo (not titanium wheel/ axel.. I have that still on my table .. cool )
- Fmic ( a little different design, should be very good cooling )
- home made 3" exhaust turbo to back
- delta integrale inlet manifold
- tomei style exhaust manifold ( for twin scroll turbo, short pipes )
- just a little work on the head..
( biggest rocks away.. )
-Dinks 280+ hp chip
- adjustable fuel pressure regulator
- Navalinea better gasket on the head
- free flow airfilter

thats about it...

- bigger oil cooler etc, and other stuff, that doesnt make anything to the power .. laugh

That's about right with your mods.

You could have gotten another 15-20Nm i'm sure if it wasn't for the clutch. laugh

yes, thinking about the same, and because my little wastegate opening, there should be a 15-25nm more peak torque..
