Hi guys just wondering if anyone could help. when going over bumps there is a loud knock from the from suspension. thing is its not that old maybe 3 years since i changed to beilstein b6 dampers and eibache (spelling?) springs 2 of those years the car was off-road. Just wondering what it could be?

definatly not engine mounts, i pretty sure its not the wishbones but silent blocks of the anti roll bar might be a case as it does knock under heavy breaking and acceleration sometimes too. I'll have to look into that.

any other suggestions?

The bolt that holds the ball joint into the hub. These do need replacing as this is what can cause the knocking noise

drop links are brand new, as for the bolt on the hub ill have to look into that too.

Check that the bolts which holds the top mount to the top of the dampers are tight. The ones which are covered and require an allen key to stop the damper rotating and swan neck to get at the nut.

I had a knocking sound when driving slow upto around 30mph and it turned out to be a worn track rod end

Check the 4 wishbone bolts. I had one come loose and fall off in the undertray.
