I shared the back of my little experiment,

as some know I decided to rebuild my interior

Not having the money to do it again with a saddler (2000 euros) so I found a leather dye, apply a spray, color guarantee 10 years.

At first there was what looked like inside.




then removing the seats, and sanding the leather with a special lotion and an abrasive pad




Rinse well, even at high pressure cleaner



and here's the result!















I still against the door to do and it will be not bad ... B)

You must have applied a dye after the high pressure rinse stage, no?

Very nice, and in the pictures that looks to have taken very well indeed.
What is it like up close? Has it filled the grain or do you still see good texture?

@ barnacle yes you have to apply the color after the rinse and dry thoroughly especially

@Big the final result is beautiful, but it's true that leather is not as smooth as the original, I find as I can polish, it is a dye with latex, when I get home from vacation, I would take close up photos.

@lego Lego I assure you it is a special leather spray paint, photos for you to see better.

I have not found it online, I bought a paint store that makes custom colors for any type of material.

The bomb for leather, also works for plastic as the dashboard
