can't wait for the pics.
I guess an ex LE owner got a good trade in price
and now the dealer is trying to re-coupe it !

(shocking pun intended, like the price)

Didn't kow the actual spelling was "familly".

Apart from the "described by specialists as the best of the country" bullshit I would be interested if it actually was at that price. Then again, you lucky uk-ers can get a LE normally for just two months of wages.

To be honest, I think this is a normal price for even a LE with some minor aesthetic issues. It's less than what I paid for mine with higher mileage. You guys are just spoilt.

If it's mechanically in tip-top condition and aesthetically in "mint" condition then why not?

a small percentage, but there are people out there who would buy one if it was that good.

not everyone wants an average example.

Sort of local but don't need to see it, I know that one, LE 46, owned from new by Fraser, then snewton, then Jayzee then All_Couped_Up.
Always was immaculate whenever it was at a meet. It's lost it's Zender boot spoiler and gained it's front badge back from the last time I saw it.

Edit - Last owner was All_Couped_Up
Not many cars with every owner being on here from new.

Actually looks spotless. Nice matte gloss on the seats as well. If that were LHD, I'd jump in my car and go get it. Depending on how it looks underneath the shiny shine.

Hey Guys, this was mine and it is a lovely car - I am sure Roger will confirm it. I wanted to keep it but run out of room for it after purchasing a 911. I am sure I will regret selling it long after the 911 has gone.
Reading the earlier comments - the centre console was an option when it was new I believe, the chrome rings are an after market as everyone on here knows. It has P'farina chrome kick plates which replaced the plastic Fiat black ones which one of the previous owners put on.I take the credit (or not) for taking the zender boot spoiler off .
Loads of history mainly Powerfiat - car supplied by Desira of Bury St Edmunds who I believe fitted the boot spoiler as a factory option after fit. If anything ever needed doing to it I did it - as Roger will testify and my bank manager will confirm!
Had the car proffessionally valetted and detailed at the end of last summer and the seats always looked after with the help of glyptone. I am confident there is not a better interior out there. Mechanically right on the button - did not realise the side light was out! There is a little fading on the paint however.
Hope it goes to someone on here who will not mod it.
Happy to answer questions, the car is lovely and a credit to previous owners who have also cherished it and oh ..the real reason it is up at £5995 - you've guessed it ....it has the original matching Fiat Coupe LE jacket that was given to the new owner when the car was purchased - the jacket has the matching LE number sewn into the jacket !One to keep (car - not necessarily the jacket)
This is my third LE and Autopoint sold my previous one a chrono about 3 years ago which went to Ireland.
Everyone will have their views and I will not be drawn into all those, but genuine questions happy to help.
Andy

Mario,

That looks rather nice - is it silver or the LE titanium?

Due to swap my centre console over soon and thinking of refurbing the old one and finishing it in "551 Shore Beige Metallic"!

Its a dark silver - lighter than the LE titanium but I think it gives the cabin a more modern feel.

Hi Guys,

This was indeed my car before allcouped up bought it from me.

A few piccies from when I had it...

Glad the rear spoiler got the boot laugh I hated the damn thing!

I put the silver centre console in... Shamelessly nicked from JimO's sprint blue car I had at the same time before I sold that. laugh

Shame I never photographed the two cars side by side frown

You used to be able to buy these silver consoles from fiat.

You should still be able to - just need to find a friendly dealer that can be bothered to order one for you.

If you want the uncreased leather look, it is not that difficult to achieve. I have done it countless times on many cars.

Firstly, make sure the seats are clean.

Use gliptone conditioner, and apply it in direct sunlight - the hotter the better.

The heat from the conditioner with the sun will "pop" most of the creases out smile

Keep repeating this as it takes quite a bit of conditioner to get them out. I tend to do this excecise over a few days, as doing it just the once doesn't work too well.

Don't bother doing this in winter months - it won't work.

Gotten rid of nasty sharp dings from objects that have damaged leather seats this way too.

2002 Audi S8 as an example...

Back on topic... This car is a beauty, and one of the best ones out there for sure. There are better, and there are worse of course too smile

You have to make a call as to whether it is worth the asking price as it is pretty much a forgotten Fiat now.

Any car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, and I can tell from those photos that allcouped up had spent a lot of money on it since my brief ownership.

Would I buy it back? Probably not, and cartainly not at that price.

I had a little run down to Lipscomb today to get something for the Abarth and while I was there I got them to look up to see if this was still available on ePer.....

The only 20vt centre console they had listed that wasn't the standard finish was described as 'Trek Grey'. If thats the one, then £168 +vat to you Sir shocked

I think I'll be going for the bottle of mild methylated spirits and a can of Fiat 551 Beige Shave Mica laugh
