Correct, but you can get more power when re-mapping with a super unleaded than a normal unleaded, but would only be a few bhp more

I've never tried the Tesco fuel, mainly because there is no big Tescos near me (amazing in the South East). My nearest supermarkets are Morrisons and Asda; Asda is a huge store but does not sell fuel.

I drive past a Shell garage every day, which is why I use V-Power. I will try the Tesco fuel sometime

Mines mapped by flea on v-power so use it unless im going to run out and only options a petrol station with just normal 95ron fuel.
BP ultimate its so much more expensive than there normal unleaded i never use it!
With fuel prices increasing many people will be tempted to use std unleaded but if mapped dont! higher risk of detonation and as bigbie has shown even on a std coupe super/omtimax/vpower or whatever you want to call it has its benefits.

£36 to pretty much fill up the Coupe - will be excellent if the site lets me order

i always say buy the best you can afford..i vote for tesco 99 good stuff..
although i only use 95 from anywhere. iv found esso keep hold of fuel the longest in storage. loosing octane.

i feel the cleaning that 99 does has no effect as everything is working against it anyway. engine wear,coking, ahh what am i talking about. go to the petrol station with your wallet and buy what you want.
