I was recently chatting to someone drives a E46 M3.
He's 28 got 3 points, 5 years ncb, his girlfriend (26) & dad are both on his insurance policy.
His best quote was just under £900 with a small excess.
Then he told me he bumped his excess up to £1000 & that would bring his policy down to £700.
But he's got this £1000 excess, so he goes to Warranty Direct & gets some insurance excess cover £78 for his £1000 insurance excess.
£778 with £0 excess, not bad i thought.
Anyone else heard of this before ???????
