Just checked how much im expecting to pay for insurance when i finally get the coop back on the road (been off the road a couple of years now) and one company has quoted...wait for it.......£7405 fully comp 36yrs old, no convictions or claims but no ncb, yet another company has quoted £1408, yet if i change it to 3rd party f+t best quote £1288.
Cant wait to build up some ncb laugh

Mate, I reckon you should be able to get that even cheaper than that.

I would try the few recommended ones on here and see where you get. I would be aiming for sub £1k fully comp.

If you have another car with bonus on it my wife can mirror the bonus or if you have access to another car then she can insure it as a classic if less that 5000 miles a year and you dont need bonus it would only be 3 figures then not 4.Sarah at Niel Willies insurance look in the traders section for the freephone No or 01527857611

On classic car cover with limited mileage (up to 5000 per year) you should be able to cover your car for a lot less. I have my 2 insured for under £650 pa (with guaranteed value, etc.) for the two. Call Sarah at Neil Willies!!

If the Coupe is going to be your daily high-mileage driver this will not apply...

Good luck,
Tim
