well car is ALMOST ready to be mapped finally after a very long 2 years of the road.... I say almost as i'm still having cutting out issue at mo but flea is gonna try and sort that before working his magic!
being picked up tuesday afternoon, so i'm hoping tobe the proud father of a 350bhp+ monster within a week or so depending how quickly leighton can sort stalling issue??

bhp guess's welcome.... My guess would be 365 bhp with similar torque!
spec:
wossner forged pistons 84.6mm

standard rods

polished and ported head

bottem end lightened and balanced

T34 hybrid.... Compressor wheel 70mm exhaust housing 55ar

2.75" downpipe 2.5 rest

c&b max fast road cams

cosworth 3bar map sensor

tubular manifold

ported inlet manifold

apexi avrc

k&n group a air philtre with sip

630 siemens injectors

pro alloy intercooler

car made 305 last time with old buggered engine at just 1.2 bar with smaller t3 super 60!
bit of confusion as to what my turbo actually is but spoke to a few people and they are of the opinion it should be capable of 380-400 bhp?
please god... Finally let me have some good luck and a good result, don't think i could take anymore bad luck! smile

I'd be interested to know what it is. What do you know about it? How can someone suggest how much power it can make if they dont know what it is?

i was told originally it was 70mm / 53mm inducer exducer... Turbo guy was very vague which is annoying...
after going off this and knowing it has 7 blades group5lancia pointed me in the direction of a web page showing all compressor wheels (turbo master) and it seems there is a t3 wheel there that NEARLY matches my discription... Its actually 69mm/52.5mm and is 58 trim??
hope this helps??

T3 wheels are 60mm.

Id say its a TO4B wheel as they are sometimes refered to as 70mm. TO4B V trim is 70/55 which is, if you like, an upgrade over a stock Integrale T04S 70/48 compressor wheel. I have run one of these, they switch on like a demon, and early! I liked it but they will surge with stock T3 turbine.

Whatever your compressor wheel is it should be good for some decent power, for comparison a gt2871r 56 trim has a 53/71mm compressor wheel.

It'll be good to see how your .55 housing works, hope it all goes ok

Scuderia, I was thinking T04b, 70mm is the right size but I think they only came with either 6 or 8 blades.

It could well be that wheel, the only way of knowing for sure would be to take the compressor cover off and measure the wheel with some vernier calipers.

Stock T34 wheel is a 441341-0002 Exducer 69 Inducer 48

The bigger 410299-0004 58 trim wheel is also for the T34/T35 and (according to Turbo Technics who supplied mine) is good enough for 380BHP-400BHP - but you need about 1.7 Bar for that and it depend on what the head will flow up to (in terms of revs). TT use the .55 turbine housing to achieve that - not sure on the turbine wheel but I guess it's at least a stage III jobby.

depending on the pressure of boost, a friend of mine got 355bhp at 1.7 bar with the same set up as yours but without the head and the intake manifold ported.

He also got an 0.63 A/R on the hot side

So 360hp sounds good to me for something like 1.6 bar at top rpm.
