Doc - my mate Bob might still go for this, appreciate that Sandown have now cemented the numbers - but he'll turn up anyway and hope for the best I guess! Silly boy should've paid up...

There's also another chap that said he might come,... I argued the case with Daytona, particularly as he turned up there and offered to pay but they turned him away!

The reason being is having the karts ready checked and fuelled.

When I suggested one or two might turn up, they said well it will be down to whether there are any spare karts ready on the day.

Is this the calm before the storm?! I'm expecting some serious trash talk before tomorrows karting.

Oh - and I have to share this... I've just completed Day 1 of my course. It ended with me rubbing oil into the adductor area of a very very hot 21 year old.

Report on homos:

Last night Hurstymofo, Kevin, Civic+Bob and I all got rather hammered, this may effect performances today so expect kevin to be holding us up even more.

We might be running a bit late today due to hurstymofo being sick alot this morning, however we will keep in contact with the DocFrag and see you mofos later.

Sounds like Kenno will still have a hard on when he turns up.

Top fun, even if I did get black flagged 3 laps from the end. I still don't know what for... yes I do, to let the other guy win!

What happened to Civic Legend? I was looking forward to a race-long scrap.

Looks like I managed to lose everyone on the lead to the afters pub. I was following my mates (the guys at the head of the queue) for "fun", but I noticed I dropped the rest of you despite accasional reacquiring of the snake when lapping roundabouts. Better luck next time I guess. The coop felt well nice and smooth and fast after those go-karts!

Nobby, legend for doing the labels, they were really handy out on track, seemed most peoples stayed on etc.

ditto - the labels worked a treat! Thanks to frag and KT for organising.

I still don't agree with Kevin's "fastest laps don't matter" as i was playing by the rules and was at half race pace when the yellows came out. I posted about 5 laps in the 1:12's when the track was clear.

Anyone in for a group buy on some rotax max's?!

I spent the race in total frustration, I qualified 4th, I think behind Nobby - who stacked it fairly shortly after the race began . I then just watched welformed and Calvin drive into the distance... there was nothing I could do . I know I still had the balls in the bends and the commitment on the brakes, but it just didn't have the power of the last kart I had when I was there, so from a best lap of 1:10.325 and putting in repeated high 1:10's (looking at my times from the last session there) I was only capable of averaging 1:14 ish last night. IF I was super delicate I could get into the high 1:12's - scraping a 1:12.8 but I lost patience with it after a while and ended up losing 3rd to dirtybob - he even span behind me and still caught me up to pass me . 'Tis the trouble with the long endurance races - if you get lumbered with a duffer you're done for, no point coming in to ask for a fresh one 'cos you've lost already.

Suba was amusing to watch with his *zero front end grip system* (tm) kart - which required the most brutal entry to corners imaginable, I remember Kevin complaining he was a nightmare to pass as he had to drive so erratically .

My mood lightened after a blast in Doctorfrags beast - OMG mate, its amazing!!!! It just pulls savagely to the limiter . You do need some new pads on it though with all that grunt . I was enjoying sliding the evo about - particularly on the grass carpark for the lakeside place. Top marks for commitment to the guy in the Golf GTI, I've never seen such lean angles before .

LOL I was staying with you in my DIESEL SEAT TDi

I just thought it's not worth 3 of us going to the pub when the other 20 were left behind

I turned around and went back to meet the others

I pulled a cracking switch-back overtake move on Tom. He saw me coming and went defensive on the inside into the tight hairpin after the back straight. So I just stayed out wide, cut inside mid-corner and took him on the exit of the corner. Textbook.

Calvin - Joe's mate and the eventual winner - was talking for putting a team together or a mini-private championship for regular Karting etc. Worth a go?

Totally know what you mean about the karts. I had a minger. It just wouldn't turn into any corners so I had to start deliberately induce oversteer into corners with the brakes. Surprised I never spun it throughout the race doing that! Grip seemed to get worse as the race went on too. I wonder if the sliding method was overheating my tyres??

Even so I was pretty gutted not to get into the 1:10 bracket again. I kinda expected to and wanted to try out a trailbraking line. Alas the Kart was incapable. Starting from the front is something I shan't bother with again. Apart from the first few laps it was boring!

Yeah I was quite impressed with your SEAT Andy. I mean it was clearly no match for a stage 1 coop but you were able to hold on if I took it easy into a roundabout. Too much Kartin adrenaline still in my system methinks! lol
