Well guys round 5 was full of very highs and extreme lows. Finally finished on the podium after being close a few time, 3rd brilliant result and should have been 2nd but a missed gear out of the hairpin lost me that. Finally on par with these pesky Westfields too so roll on the wet weather. Race 2 lasted until the 3rd corner where my gearbox tried to select two gears at the same time resulting in a small explosion shall we say!!! Gearbox is back at Elite for repair and modification. Expensive and stressfull this developmental lark. Gearbox is however fantastic and it was a standard bit that broke.

Brilliant stuff.

Scary bit with the escort, but then, I'm a bit of a horses hoof compared to you, roll on the wet weather laugh

This round is on Motors TV on thursday at 7:00pm for those that like the professional touch, although i will be interested to see how they show the race as they have missed some of the action from past rounds.

Thanks Sparkyman by the way, but unfortunately unless you have £20k spare i'll just keep the car!!!

I've just watched the Motors TV coverage, awesome to see a coop on the television though the commentary is a bit hit and miss...

Well done though Marco, I especially liked the GT2 'on board' footage when you just drove past :-)

F****** b****** thing...

Cracking stuff Marco!!

Gutted to see the car / gearbox failed... Was it your gear oil
That caused the escort to slide??

Thanks guys yes the old coupe keeps up pretty well. had a few good battle with the Porsche so far.

Trappy - yes i agree, i think i have worked out that the commentary is done by the guy and he is watching the coverage that motors give him so he's unaware of what else is going on round the circuit. I definately don't think he is at the circuit on the day which is a bit rubbish.

marco - no it wasn't my oil i think he got it on the painted stuff which was still very wet.
