Very good day with pretty much the coupes dominating everything bar the Ginetta, btcc seat cupra and a fully track prepped Renault Clio this was many due to slippery track condition at the start. So a big thanks to mr CC and mrs CC for the track time in the coupes and the free fuel It was also good to see some new faces and reconise so old ones aswell. Pictures to follow

I'll second how cold it was!
I think that was my first time seeing Coupes on track. They were flying and made me regret never having taken one my previous ones out.
Loved the sound of the AC Cobra replica, so went and chatted to the owner....it has a 8.1 litre engine! He saved for 4 years to get the 35k it cost, then built it himself.
Also found the owner of the red stripped out 306 Rally. He was overtaking most things in the session I watched. Had a look round his car with him, completely stripped out, engine work and running touring car tyres and trick custom suspension.

The 306 wasn't that fast but the driving skill and the knowledge of his set up was very high. I had some good tussles with him in mrs CC 2.4 vis along with the grey Evo I was chasing at the same time mrs CC managed to a passenger ride in But the session of the day has got to be driving mr CC's plus and chasing the full track spec Clio and not doing to bad if I do say so myself

Just got back and I'm now enjoying an Ale in my local, many thanks to all who attended, it was cold, wet but loads of fun. Highlights for me were: 4 wheel drifting around Paddock bill bend, several times Chasing down and beating most of the RWD cars, including the MR2's Pushing the 2.4 with the carbotech pads and still having shorter braking distances if my bottle had allowed with it being so wet. Spinning Dan's MR2 and being told his car was then banned for the rest of the afternoon session, sorry mate hope you enjoyed the stint driving my Plus But the best has to go to my wonderful wife, not only did she dump her 2.4 in the kitty litter, but she did this backwards after loosing it at the top of Paddock hill bend and spun it twice in fine style before coming to rest arse deep in gravel, the marshals were so impressed they took her driver wrist band off her but gave it back after lunch and hour later. Well done It was an excellent day

Excellent, looking forward to seeing those Any other coops on track other than the Knight clan? There was a chap there with a standard Red 20vt that was trailered in for the day, he didn't tell me his name but he's not on any of the forums and just uses the Coupe as a toy even though it's road legal, he was doing really well no no major mishaps.

We'll just have to see what happens when the weather is decent I wouldn't expect much different outcomes, especially on a track that's long and fast corners Welcome to the forum matey
