Waaay better than that although it does have a fair bit of geekiness to it. Come in the water's lovely, embrace your inner nerd, you know you want to. I finished the main quest a couple of months ago and pretty much stopped playing immediately. I did find the last mission a bit too easy. The main one for was the first battle with Alduin (a couple of main quest missions beofre the end) as I spent ages giving up on that one before getting it sorted. I haven't bothered with the expansion pack but have just this week started dipping my toes into the normal game again to tidy up some side missions.
Up yours Photobucket.

I've got no idea what skyrim is If the option is between being a nerd, or being the kind of idiot who posts about something they admittedly know nothing at all about, then I'm quite happy in the nerd camp.

PS. There is no 64-sided die, so far as I know. D&D used 4-, 6-, 8-, 10-, 12- and 20-sided dice. Manufacturers later brought out a 30-sided dice, but I don't know of any game system that ever used it (although, naturally, I have one).
There was also a 100-sided die produced (rather pointlessly, as two 10-sided dice serve just as well), but there were always questions about just how random it was, so few people ever bought or used them.

PPS. Naturally you could used two 8-sided dice to simulate a 64-sided dice roll, but:
a) It would be a little confusing, as 8-sided dice were numbered 1-8, while 10-sided dice were, typically, numbered 0-9.
b) You'd have to be reasonably good at converting octal to decimal in your head.
c) I'm guessing that, while you've got your socks on, numbers over 10 are a bit of a struggle for you.

A trio of excellent posts!!!
If we had forum Oscars I'd nominate you!!!
As for skyrim, I've been off work for 6 weeks and not put it in once. I think I'm trying to do too many side quests and not enough main quests. Struggling to kill dragons and all side quests now have dreadlord draugers at every corner.
Might put it back on though, shame it's back to work tomorrow .....

With every guard in Windhelm on my tail I decided to make a run for it, but as I got outside Windhelm a dragon spawned. I decided to fight it, as the Windhelm guards, faced with the choice of taking down the dragon who was flaming their city or catching somebody accused of breaking and entering, decided I was the priority target. You're not a priority target - you're a mid-forties bloke with kids, holding down a job in middle management.

Just to bring this thread back from the dead ... looking for something to do last night I wandered into the Playstation store and found that the Skyrim DLC Dawnbreaker and Dragonborn are up for £6.49 each.
I couldn't resist and got myself Dawnbreaker and, so far, it seems really good. Getting the pair of them for £13 seems like a good deal, adding a whole load of new quests, enemies and items to revitalise the game.
