I'm a car designer and Class A CAD surfacer so if you want any help putting something together I'd like to offer my skills. I'm aware that you might want to keep the project under the AutoDS name but many hands make light work and all that. smile

That looks fantastic. love love love For years i've thought the front of the coop let it down and made it look a little aged. Now you come up with a terrific front and rear bumper. Just as I lose my coop!! frown

I would have had one, and that rear with the twin exhausts. Good job I lost my coop in a way or I'd have been spending a fortune on it! (wanted new tan seats too) rolleyes

1. It looks a bit sh*t, and 2. Is the designer himself asked or even informed?

Bonnet lips? Really, do you think they will blend in and look nice enough, I can't see how you'd get a seamless look?

Per does make a good point RE the original designer...
However these are REPO kits just as the zender and le look ones probably dont have/need permission from Fiat...

I do like this tho... laugh

Although i dont like the blue coupe , everything about it!!!

i would like to see this new bumper on a coupe with std bonnet , i would not buy it for myself . But still like to see. As for bonnet lip surely a grill/sidelight cover would be better still be seem though.

unless the original designer/owner or who ever made it , copyrighted it and any other versions not much he could do. Although after all that effort if it was me i would be bit pissed but also nice to know its so wanted feeling.

And does look like there has been some small changes to the original blue bumper.

Yes, bonnet lips.. You have to fit it as the bonnet vent.. Of course, we can do whole fibreglass bonnet too, but this wil be more expensive option.. smile

Per.. can you not clutter up this thread ? Thanks.. tongue Copyright for automotive parts ? ooo

I have sent e-mail and PM to carbonara about 2 weeks ago.. no reply.. but this is off topic.. Copyright for automotive parts ? Send this news to Brembo, Pilkington, TRW etc.. etc.. etc.. You know, they do not have and do not need permission from Fiat/BMW/Opel etc.. tongue

This thread is about ideas for new project.. please.. smile

I know i said copy right or patent pending but my point about it is , you have to have it wrapped up so tight and cover lots of angles . I never for a min thought this bumper or body kit on blue coupe has a copyright .

What about the Aston Martin or Jag styles like have already been said in this thread. Doesnt have to be direct copy .

But as the coupe and Aston have a similar front end shape, could work out well.
If i had photoshop on my laptop i would throw some thing together but i dont.

How about relocating the fogs sidelights and indicators? Nice big grill and maybe TVR style individual round lenses?

Ok I'm sorry if I was rude but I did restrict myself to only "a bit sh*t" - not fully! smile

But since you ask, here's another I did before. It's only a little less "conservative" so you may not like this either. And, it's mainly made for SMIC, although it's good for FMIC too if you block the left inlet. But - you go ahead and use it (or parts of it) if you want! wink

Then again Ferrari is always a source of inspiration.. What about the fantastic FF?
