Looking for ideas for a new front bumper for FMIC. Do you have any suggestions?

You need to make one that surrounds the FMIC so the air has to go through the FMIC and not around the sides. This way you will get better cooling to the FMIC.

Needs to be descrete
IE Not a bumper with the front chopped off showing the whole FMIC.
I think someone did that once on a Porto Coupé... Im sure it worked well however it wasnt to my taste

Ideally you need two proper ducts -
One for the oil cooler and one for the FMIC

I currently have a 20vt sitting here with a Pro Allow FMIC so I can check the size and location and see if we can make something with good cooling path. I have some ideas in terms of that.

That blue coupe is one of the worst ones ive seen ,bonnet looks so wrong IMO.

Not sure the front bumper would look any better with standard bonnet and fog/side light unit either.

Maybe keep the middle bumper opening/vent and add Aston 0ne-77 or DBS type side vents to it for the oil cooler and air filter if running FMIC. along with your DBS style rear bumper . Youll have a Aston kit

Maybe make/play with cada type grill to add to it .So all the front grill mesh metrial is same too.

I really like the front end of the Jaguar c-x16. If something like this could be designed for the coupe I think it would look stunning. The headlights are a similar size and shape so would have thought it would be possible to make a bumper in that style, possibly in combination with the bonnet from blue coupe above posted by Jimbo.

No.. no.. I really like it.. although it is not subtle bodykit in any way.. This project needs the bonnet kit too.. I'm not a fan of side skirts and boot spoiler, is really ugly..

I've just had a great idea. Since there is no new Coupe on the horizon from Fiat, why not design a completely new bodykit that would change the complete look of the Coupe?? Even if you need to do work to the bonnet etc. Something like that blue Coupe. After it's done, you need to really look to see it's still a Coupe.

Really most kits imo dont suit the coupe.
Standard or LE/Plus or at a push zender are the best . Time for a update may be good if done right.

YES, it's real. And apart from the narrower bonnet I love this. (Coming from someone who doesn't like aftermarket bodyshitskits.)

Standard with a bit of trimming looks pretty good imo.

Mariusz I think should stop messing about with random diffusers and MAKE that car! Looking at old feedback you would certainly get the sales to compensate for the development! Im first in line btw

I'm with you Kayjey, I don't usually like body kits but this one looks (minus the rear spoiler) really good.

I'd be tempted to buy a second coupe and do this as a project!

That looks fantastic. For years i've thought the front of the coop let it down and made it look a little aged. Now you come up with a terrific front and rear bumper. Just as I lose my coop!!

I would have had one, and that rear with the twin exhausts. Good job I lost my coop in a way or I'd have been spending a fortune on it! (wanted new tan seats too)

i would like to see this new bumper on a coupe with std bonnet , i would not buy it for myself . But still like to see. As for bonnet lip surely a grill/sidelight cover would be better still be seem though.

unless the original designer/owner or who ever made it , copyrighted it and any other versions not much he could do. Although after all that effort if it was me i would be bit pissed but also nice to know its so wanted feeling.

And does look like there has been some small changes to the original blue bumper.

Yes, bonnet lips.. You have to fit it as the bonnet vent.. Of course, we can do whole fibreglass bonnet too, but this wil be more expensive option..

I know i said copy right or patent pending but my point about it is , you have to have it wrapped up so tight and cover lots of angles . I never for a min thought this bumper or body kit on blue coupe has a copyright .

What about the Aston Martin or Jag styles like have already been said in this thread. Doesnt have to be direct copy .

But as the coupe and Aston have a similar front end shape, could work out well.

But since you ask, here's another I did before. It's only a little less "conservative" so you may not like this either. And, it's mainly made for SMIC, although it's good for FMIC too if you block the left inlet. But - you go ahead and use it (or parts of it) if you want!

This was mine, fitted the fmic bob on. It was almost flush to the bottom of the bumper and it went into the top grill. the width was good as well
