1997 on a P reg. Has been well looked after, and it's great to be able to trace its history on this forum.

I have to admit that the Coop wasn't on my radar until very recently, but one test drive and I was smitten.

All being well I should pick up on Thursday. I am looking forward to the drive home, and immersing myself in all aspects of Coop ownership.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.

This forum is without doubt an important reason for me acquiring a Coop - my experience is that good forums enrich the ownership experience massively, and this one is clearly one of the best.

@Mario, I'm just north of St Albans.

@Shiny - copy that. I'm fairly anal in general about keeping on top of my fluids and tyre pressures, but I sense the Coop will be a car to be especially precious about...

Enjoy the Coop Plenty, and hope you had a good journey back along/round the M20/25 - perfect 20VT hunting ground! I'll be using the funds to take phil234's old car to Rog' at Power Italia next month. Hope to see you around - and as you can see, they're a great bunch of guys/girls on here!

@kentcoupe. Thanks for a great transaction. Your Plus looks fantastic and I hope to see you again, at a meet perhaps.

Just arrived home. I think a geometry is in order and I'm going to give the suspension and brakes a thorough going-over. Need to spend some time on this forum and get to know the parts, suppliers and the bits to do.

The car makes an unusual sound on the overrun that reminds me of my grandfather's Fiat 124 saloon.

Well done and welcome.

but from the title of the thread I thought you'd got so annoyed with your coupe that you had shot it !!

Still that's probably a post to save for the future.
Give it time banghead
