Pondman,

reason most of them left was cos you were washing it chap. (and of course it was damn cold and nasty) and following the track runs most people had enough..............

BTW Pondman your coupe looked lurvly once cleaned (just before it started to rain)

and what a bugger !! when my dad and I were leaving around 4 something the sun came out - little bit too late eh?

It was good to put your face to one of the other well known Vinci LEs. The rain didn't bother, it just beaded up & ran off wink

thanks to Jame5 for the audio hints and u got a tight sound in that coupe.

Naf - thanks for the suspension hints chap - and your carbon workings has inspired me to get the airbrush out and start practicing the technique (so I can cover the B pillars and the mirror backing) as for the center console and bits I reckon I'll copy your idea and wrap it, (looked and felt nice)

Think I will be sticking in the Gtec1 this weekend, seeing as others have been running without any extras incl.

thunderbox that was a nice clean coupe there chap.

bossycoup not forgotten you fellow it will look real nice with the front lips and the sides mate looking forward to seeing the pics.......

Begbie - simple looney 16v nutter. nuff said ! laugh crazy was watching your on track vid - pick up is like something from a movie. the Millenuim Falcon I like...

Edz have you changed the plate mate ? looks diff.

ahhh you lot laugh everytime I leave Auto Italia I got more work to do on it tongue crazy laugh laugh laugh

Be safe and keep in on the grey stuff.

You're right it was an Autech Stelvio Zagato. It's powered by a Nissan V6 and was sold in Japan in the late 80s. Absolutely hideous thing in my opinion, particularly the wing mirrors that flare out from the side of the bonnet. Not one of Zagato's finest moments, but each to their own I guess!

I just found a page on it.
It seems like it sold for 18 Million Yen at a time when a Skyline GTR was 5 million.
320 BHP DOHC turbo 6 with an automatic gearbox.
And that almost all of the better Stelvio design features later appeared on the Aston Martin V8 Zagato.

Would have been nice to see it in the metal. Maybe next year....
