Because I'm being so crap getting around to doing the full blown jobbies I've asked my supplier to produce 5 copies of the standard manifold but made from stainless steel, I should be able to sell these for £200 each and have been promised they will be with me not later than 18th December. This may be of help to you?

Sorry for the delay on the full jobbies I'm stacked out with projects and this one keeps going to the bottom of the pile...

Paul

I'm interested. How is this going to differ from what you were originally planning?

Thanks

Guys, we've gone through this loop twice now. This thread is for the development of pauls manifold.

If you want to discuss other options then I've started a new thread for that. If there's any more bickering then it'll get deleted. If I have to keep deleting stuff then I'll get bored and grumpy, which will see you having to take a time out.

As you were.

Paul I might also be interested in this other options once you get a bit more info on it.

The price will not exceed £200 and I'm expecting delivery this side of Christmas, I only ordered these because I feel guilty about stringing people along with the equal length ones...

Thanks for keeping the thread on track

Paul

The actual ones I really want to do will be performance upgrades rather than replacement items. The performance ones will be equal length pipes and better collector design.

I know it's taking ages, this is why I'm having some simple ones made up to bridge the gap.

You have your own manifold so you really don't need to get upset about waiting!

If a job is rushed, or not done when you're in the right frame of mind, mistakes are more likely.

Give the man a break, he's been good enough to be able to get this made for a fraction of the price of the others out there, if people can't wait and want to spend more money, then more fool them.

Right me and chris (Nobby) fitted mine on monday! it had its ups and downs due to my car being typical coop nothing ever simple lol

right paul (fccuk) the manifold looks great once on but there was a few issues. . . . Nobby is going to do a little write up on the fitting of it in detail but il say the hurdles we come up against.

*Main thing is it does bring the turbo slightly closer to the block which we didnt notice untill we had to attach my h&s downpipe back to it. It went back on but now only just goes on with bit of persuasion we had to drill out the holes on my h&s by 1mm bigger put the 5 bolts in and tighten then attach to decat using the lil bit of give with my flexi section. but it goes together fine just everything is in slightly different place now.
* The 4 tapered holes in flange which attaches to turbo flange Need to be drilled out to 9mm because as this doesnt have the 2 studs for the back 2 holes like fiat ones do you can physically get the bolts straight enough to screw them through the tapered hole because the tubes from manfold obstruct this so if you drill them out bigger you can slot bolt through them on a slight angle then you put a nut on turbo side of flanges.
*only one manfold bolt out of 10 is a hard to get on.

Dont be put off by this because if you know to do these things before attempting it, it will not be a problem me and Nobby was the experiment lol so we had to work around these problems and come up with these ways around it and NOW its fitted is looks the part and is now turning a nice Blue/purple colour looks cool.

as i said Nobby will be writing much better write up of fitting the manifold so he can explain it better as tbh he done all the work while i just passed tools and tightened up odd nut and bolt hahaha

fccuk's standard tubular manifolds for £200 gets a big 's up from me.

I'll wait for Nobby's write-up before fitting mine then.
I did notice the holes for the studs, which i'm going to do this week.

Hi All,

I'm really sorry to say, the full on tubular manifolds for £375 have taken a nose dive... I'm not able to find any spare time to put into this so have decided to shelf the idea.

Really sorry to anyone who has been waiting but it just will not happen in the near future. I may pick up on it again in the summer but no promises.

Once again sorry to anyone waiting on these.

Paul

On the plus side at least I managed to get the £200 standard ones done :-)

dont worry paul you've provided us with a much cheaper prettier standard tubular design. Im sure thats more than enough to keep people happy. Anyone that really wants tubular will be willing to pay for the current prices for current designs available ;\) many thanks for mine.

Bought one of these when this guy decided to make and sell them again. Trouble is it's now cracked on most of the welds and lasted about 1/5th the time of my original coupe manifold. fcck2000 (also his ebay name) is completely unprepared to talk to me at all but he will decline close offers on his ebay items after a few hours- funny that!
Anyway i thought i would warn others of his dubious business practices. I wonder if he will talk now????
