As Barbz is now away till mid Jan is there anywhere else that can supply a hybrid turbo to fit straight onto 20vt with no adaptor plates etc.? just in case.

Try ITS turbos in huddersfield and dont use GP turbos, of course from my own experience the latter
|

If it's just smoking occasionally then you'll be fine driving it for a few weeks longer. Just ignore the people staring at the smokescreen behind your car

I ran mine with a knackered turbo for ages. If you were getting a receon it would be beneficial to change sooner, but if you're going for a new turbo, i.e hybrid on exchange basis, it doesn't matter so much.

I wouldn`t panic.......Panic !!! hhhhmmmm does that make sense ,my last turbo smoked for months,before I decided which one I was going to change for........still give plenty of boost when ask for ,just keep an eye on your oil level

Turbodynamics are a lot more expensive directly, a lot cheaper via Barbz. You can get an adaptor plate directly from turbodynamics, and then its straightforward to fit a roller bearing... joe

It's a Turbo Technics S161 hybrid that the BenH / Fishy_Dave Coupe is running. I can confirm that it's an excellent, flexible unit that makes for a great drive.
