Hi mates

days ago has broken the alarm siren, i buy one new unit and plug it but the alarm is not active. when i use the remote only open and close the doors, but the alarm is not activated (no beeps, or hazard lights activated.)

anyone knows is I need to do something to match the new alarm module.

Not seen that type in the UK. Most of the UK cars came with Scorpion or Meta alarms. Any early 16v owners help out?

I have the same fob but the alarm was removed a long time ago. I think they were quite troublesome and expensive to repair.
