I'm not going if Proccys is or there will be nothing left to eat. No need to worry JBT, only an 8th of him will be attending, plenty of Rob's nosh left for everyone else Might be wise to bring a packed lunch and your own booze with some of them names on that list Haha, Looking forward to this. Steve I can pick you,Lezza porky and crazyears on my way up as all on route to Carlisle . hell.... have you got a large roof-rack and strong suspension. The bhp/tonne might drop a little...

what hotel are people using if traveling up for the night ? Most people stay at the Ibis Hotel. The County Hotel is literally a few doors away, so also a good choice. Simon (Edinburgh) is staying at a place called The Corner House iirc. There are also two Premier Inns, within a couple of miles, so will work out well if you share a taxi with someone. Rob said there was another hotel behind his restaurant too - a Travelodge I think, but not sure on that. is anyone going on the Friday night or just the Saturday? I don't think anyone has ever stayed on the Friday night, except maybe barmybob, but he had to spend the day before shopping and pleasing his Mrs, didn't you Bob Not sure if nismo has to do the same with you Mario? For those that don't know, the Ibis is around the corner from Robs and right in the middle of the pubs and clubs, so no one will have to pay out for taxi's, etc. The County Hotel is also literally a few doors along, so another good choice. Don't book breakfast at the Ibis, it's shocking! We all meet up in the morning and have a decent breakfast across the road from the Ibis (it's a Weatherspoons or Lloyds bar or similar)

Stayed there last year, perfectly acceptable and good breakfast Make sure you phone them and ask for a room round the back away from all the clubbing racket that comes from the main street.....unless it's being caused by you of course

Utterly gutted, but I can't make it either. I'd even booked a ticket to watch Morecombe v Oxford on the Saturday lunchtime (so might not be all bad) - I have just been informed by my ex-missus that I need to have my children that weekend, and to be fair her need is essential; mine would just be fun.
I am still desperate to have a road trip north of the border; if our Scottish cousins have a meet sometime in the New Year I would love to come (probably stopping at JBT's for a £££ pitstop). I haven't been to Skye for 40 years, and would love to come back down the east.....
Have a great evening/weekend,
Tim

Please...... There were names for kids like you who used to watch Star Wars. And on break times they used to get wedgies and there heads flushed down the John. Of course your nickname would always be Dr Spok because of your ears wether you watched it or not
