No badges to give it away, so answers on a postcard! laugh

36k miles, 1 owner from new (1982), aside from a bit of corrosion on the underside of the passenger door lip, it is mint! love

Oh, it needs a wheel refurb too, but I kept a set back from my last one... So, short of an F1 style pit stop, sorting out a faulty petrol guage and most importantly, taking the lid off, I hope to get a couple of weeks of motoring out of her before the council throw a load of anti-fiat powder all over the roads! driving

Picking her up next week and cannot wait!

What a great example of my second favourite Fiat, wish I still had mine!

Great to see the caps are still on the wheels as they are very hard to find "Downunder", one could say they are made of "unobtainium" as are the bumpers.

Look after it and enjoy!!!

Thanks guys, looking forward to collecting her next week.

Possum -I have a few spare centre caps for the wheels, but I agree, they are very difficult to come by now... at sensible money anyway.
When you mention the bumpers, which ones do you mean? The 1300 or the 1500?

I will get some more pictures posted once I have got her home and cleaned up - the cream interior is a bit grubby, but in otherwise good condition.

Its only last month I sold a steel header tank and two original holdalls irked

Very nice. love I've been tempted to buy one myself on quite a few occasions.
But would have to do a lot of research first, really don't know much about them at all. blush

When I bought my first one, I didnt know much either, but the club is very knowledgable and they are pretty easy to work on mechanically. The tinworm is the main issue, with some areas much more expensive to sort than others i.e. the rear strut tops.

There are still a lot of good ones out there, they are a hoot to drive, comfy and loads of luggage space cool

I had mine back in 1981 so was only a year old. Such great fun with fantastic cornering.
I went on honeymoon in it aswell, just as i was about to pull away from the wedding reception my mate opened my door a poured a whole packet of rice crispies over my head.
Bloody stuff was turning up months later !

Sadly it had to go when the Mrs fell pregnant.

Still time to get another though. love

many years ago i delivered brand new Fiats and Lancia's.... the X19 was a awesome car to drive as i was driving a mini at the time.... i drove the full fiat range from a panda to a Chroma turbo..... got to admit if they could put the 20vt punch into a X19 the car would be awesome

Identical to mine that i bought in the late eighties - seriously flash when friends were driving around in morris marinas and battered escorts.
Six years of patching up, cardboard and duck tape before it fell to bits.
I still have a box of owners club mags (possibly issue 6 onwards) if you want them.

I went through all the patching up/filling painting phase with my last one, by the time I got rid, the floor pan was very much like Fred Flintstones car! laugh

The box of club mags would be great, thank you. I have got quite a few from around 2005 - 2008, but they are always worth a read.

PM to follow shortly thumb

I thought I ought to post up a few more pictures, now she is officially mine. It felt great to be back behind the wheel of one, and I can tell from the drive home that she has had a very sheltered life.

Not so much as a wash yet

The wheels let her down, but this will be sorted over the next couple of days.
