After forgetting about it over the summer, when it would have been *logical* to fix it, I have now discovered why my Bravo is what we techically refer to as 'crap' at defrosting the windscreen... no air coming from the blower. That appears to be because the servo that routes air is jammed.

Hmm.

In the spirit of genuine enquiry, I popped into a Fiat dealer to ascertain the likely price: removal/replacement of the dash, three and a half to four hours. If the heater unit has to come out as well, another six and a half hours... estimate, not including any parts to fix the original fault, about a grand.
