My view is Pendleton was second because she's fit that may have been your view, but from my view it was Jessica Ennis who cam second (though your point about her being fit still stands)

Your post is the reason why I don't watch reality TV. The rules are irrelevant. Cry and you win, being good doesn't matter.
Not quite sure I understand this. Without doubt, the right person won though. Wiggo is better than good. It helps that he won one of the toughest sporting events on the planet as a Brit in a British team. And, TBH, I think you are wrong about Murray. I do think he cares what people think. A lot. He's just very awkward.

His life is his and no-one elses.

There was a good feature on Wiggo's Tour de France challenge last night on ITV4 at 8pm (available on catchup here ). It makes an hour seem like a minute.

We all know it was a very tough year to pick a winner, they all had an excellent case. But I can't help and think that if a British Olympian had won gold in the 800m 1500m 5000m and the marathon!!!. They would have been the winner this year this has to be a totally inhuman achievement

I think that is a little harsh on Andy Murray. He doesn't like being interviewed but I think he cares a great deal about being an inspiration and appreciates the support people give him. Have a look at this article http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-tayside-central-19610677He signed every autograph that was asked of him, posed for every pic. The walkabout took many more hours than planned because of this but it was his decision to do it. I am not necessarily an Andy Murray fan but I was impressed with this.
