My neighbour's son has one ((944), last time I saw it was on ramps having to have the whole front suspension rebuilt as he had put it in a ditch and ripped off the nearside wheel!
Classic case of too much too soon! suicide
He's a bit of a computer wizard and he's remapped it himself to throw out massive power!

Must be Spring at last (temperature aside!) but just seen a lovely Type 14 Karmann Ghia - white with black roof. Then a LHD 348 TS with the roof off and on Italian plates going through Warwick Town centre.

Lotus 340R heading towards France on M26, then later saw a lime green Koenigsegg without number plates (presumably a nearby dealer on a demo drive) on A20

The Safari Loadrunner? I've never seen one in the flesh. Was it as huge as it looks in photo's?

Yes, it might even been that one in the first couple of pics... It was a G plate in silver and had something on the rear window.

Took a trip out on Saturday in this little thing (apologies for naff moby foto) :
Mates new purchase. First 911 I have actually driven and yes it was a Turbo. Late '09 - last of the Metzger 3.6 engines. A seriously well built and engineered car. 495bhp - I was actually not quite as impressed by the pull as I thought I would have been but still a very quick way to do the miles. From the drivers seat the car actually did not feel as big as it was but felt extremely driveable and agile - 305 section £400 a corner rears probably helped. Every switch felt quality. From the cockpit there was actually a lack of mechnical engine noise just the whoosh of the turbos. Brakes had terrific feel to them as well. Tiptronic box would not have been my choice but it felt almost Kart-like with two pedals and an Auto box.........
Very enjoyable

Just seen that 348 again in Warwick with the Targa off.... Stunning...I think although its LHD the "Italian" plates are actually a UK private plate made up as an Italian Styled one.
Always loved the 348 despite the criticisms... They still look the part to me and have not aged at all.. Is Greg still on here with his?

I was behind a prototype LHD 'F' yesterday - one of those with a thousand F's painted on to 'hide' the design (for some reason still?!) Theres loads around Cov given the HQ is here.
The guy blatted away to slip through a gap in traffic - the cars are almost old-skool-straight-exhaust/Carbs-loud under throttle thumb

Spotted a black Citroen Avant last week just between Calais and Boulogne. Seeing it in its natural enviroment, making good progress aalong a duel carraigeway, I was taken aback at how modern it seemed even now. It would have made our blighty stuff look pre-historic back in the 1940's!

Not as yet. I've seen a pre-production MG3 and like the MG6 its a 'nearly but not quite' kind of car.
