I've just been following the thread: What's the top speed of an NA and there is talk of 2 different 20v NA:

2.0 20V.........132 mph.............8.9 sec
2.0 20v.........135 mph.............8.4 sec (revised model)

Does anyone know what was revised and what year the revised model came out? Are there any telltale signs between the two?

Just curious...

Don't know the details but I think the later one had VIS variable timing? And maybe fly by wire throttle?

Later one had VIS (variable intake system) and about 8 more BHP.

Coopless!

As Cappo said. The later 20v has variable cam timing (VIS) and a fly by wire throttle.

The big giveaway is the letters 'VIS' two inches high on the cam cover.
