Dear all, Mariusz and I have reached a mutually satisfactory deal to resolve this matter, as I said earlier the mark of a business is how it treats customers when it all goes wrong and I am pleased to say AutoDS acted correctly.

Its big, probably 2 inches or so. Body shop say the bumper is very good quality and its repairable. Its going in next week to be done.

the only reason i ask is because i got my front PUi bumper
from Mariusz a few years back and it was also packed in the same boxing yours was but to be fair it had so much protection with buble wrap and other stuff it took nearly an hour to un wrap it .

for something to take a chuck out of it like that it must have been badly transported and did you say you didnt notice it before you fitted it or you did notice it but fitted it anyway

Sorry to read about all of the troubles, but glad a resolution has been found. I have had my skirts and 2 bumpers from Marriuz and I'd say the packaging was excellent. The Courier must have been brutal.

I did it the more complicated way. Took off the old rear bumper and single back box. Fitted the rear bumper myself and then drove (nosily ) to Longlife who fitted a twin pipe stainless system to perfectly align with the opening.

I have had 2 lots of LE skirts from them before.
I would have to say that the packaging provided didn't seem to me as robust in terms of cardboard as items I had had before, perhaps it had got damp but the cardboard was easy to tear.

I would seriously advise checking all packages closely when delivered and if you have any doubts rejecting the package.

The garage cut the exhaust supplied and rewelded it and have fitted it, and I am happier with it. They did say the quality of the bumper was much better than the exhaust.
Its going into bodyshop to have the gouges filled and resprayed next week.

I recently had a DBS rear and vent wings from Mariusz and the packaging was excellent and all arrived undamaged. I think you have just been unlucky and had a particularly bad courier. The important thing is that it's been sorted. I chose to get a stainless system made to fit the twin exit, it was very expensive compared to AutoDS but i knew i would get a better fit if it was made when the bumper was fitted. Look forward to seeing pics when it's finished.
