Its only 3 points for speeding isnt it....not 6???
Surely they will send you a offer of fixed penalty for 3 points at that speed???

You may either have points and a fine or a small fine and a day safety course. My brother in law was caught on his ninja doing 90 in a 50 and did the course. He did have to go to court.

got the pics ... 3 of them 2 show me sat behind a Volvo estate and the last shows me in front with the speed ....... scubags the only place to safely overtake for miles and they are sat there watching......this is just blatently tax collecting so i am going to contest it It's all been said Volumex and I hope you can see the unanimity behind everyone's thoughts, we see the frustration at your effort to overtake swiftly and efficiently being rewarded with the "gun". I take it they were waiting at the roadside? If you are still looking for work and the court gets to know then there is just the chance, even though your speedo reading is high, no doubt about that, that you will avoid a ban which will be detrimental to your "getting on your bike" and finding work. Please, even if life is a bitch right now, swallow your pride!

Also depending who you insurer is you may not be covered or cover void due to being unemployed!
This happened to me a few years ago , i was made redundant insurance renewal coming up and phoned insurance company about lower policy usage etc , the answer was im no longer insured and they would not renewal at the future renewal date till employed.
Some insurance company's will others won't , but if you get funny with the law you may find they start digging.

This is why I think car insurance should be nationalised, how dare they take cover away during the year just because you aren't employed, there's people out there who have no intention at all of working in their lifetime and they seem to have reasonably priced cover.
The French have the right idea, cover the car, let any family member drive it.

right got my court date ...... sneaky feckers have photo shopped the speeding pics ...... i am going to bring this up in court .... they are unbelievable If they genuinely have manipulated the images (regardless of reason) they could be guilty of tampering with evidence - quite possibly a criminal offence in itself However, you've already had some very good (and free) advice on here - I would suggest that you show what you believe to be the "tampering" so that others can pass comment
