Ran 4 litre straight six Austin engine and mainly Austin A70 suspension and steering Came out in 1953, they were fibreglass and was the world's first production four seater fibre glass car The 541 deluxe was first production car with four wheel disc brakes Replaced in 1962 by the CV8 - so ugly you wouldn't believe it, then again in 1966 with the Interceptor, so gorgeous you wouldn't believe it

Always fancied one of these as a project car when I'm rich enough not to have to work and a have an 8 car garage. It would need to be Yardy Blue with gold wheels though (you'll need to have played The Getaway to understand this). Up yours Photobucket.

I seen a 70's Cadillic? today, it had a square front with those lights that spin over 180 degress from the body colour panels when you turn the lights on. It was beige and big and American! And a mint dark met blue MK5 Cortina, complete with pin stripes, I haven't seen one of those in years. "Mighty MO"

It didn't happen to drop a load of tacks on the floor as it pulled away? Or fire rockets out of the boot? I had one of these cruise past me yesterday and a guy who lives next door to a house we're renting out has one of these, although I guess it may not be that rare in some parts of the counrty. To look at from behind it looked like it was going backwards. Was talking to a mate on the roadside when it went past, did not get a proper look at it, and did a double take as my brain realised what it had seen.

Not content with having divied up Great Britain, they are employing the same tactics on motorists now. First they lay waste into the 4x4 owners - who's next do you think? Sure as hell won't be economy car drivers will it - so don't take Brain of Britain to realise that its sports car owners next Or modified cars - and how many stock Coupes left on this forum? There's already been enough conjecture about banning ANY sort of modified car So lay off the 4x4 drivers, cos its us lot next if we don't (well me already as a part time 4x4 driver too!)
