Most of you know how this works now. I weigh myself every Monday morning and record my weight here and record and update everyone else's throughout the week, etc.

I am at the heaviest weight I've ever been and am hoping 2014 is my year to shift a few stone.

I will weigh myself for my 2014 start weight on the 30th December 2013 and start cutting back from the 1st January 2014 with the new healthy eating starting properly from Monday 6th January 2014.

Anybody wishing to join me and record their weight is welcome.

I'll start on this after the new year. Lots of alcohol to enjoy until then

I'm not even going to weigh myself yet, 2 days and 2 different families for Christmas dinner and I'm proper stuffed! I'll add my weight after the new year I think!

You say this every year Lard, if i could afford it i'd pay for the gastric band treatment or, preferably the jaw wiring service = 2 birds one "stone"

I've put on more weight and have weighed more since running this thread over the years than I've ever been

I am back as ever...

Had a bad 3 months (and a very bad last 3 days!) and ended back at 14st7 this morning

Still a stone lighter than this time last year, but need to lose a stone and a half, not least for the good of my ever knackered knee!

Target as last year : 13st

At least you're a stone lighter than last year Vickster, so that's a bonus

Unlike me, almost a stone heavier than this time last year and about 3 stone heavier than when I first started these threads

Yes, still off them Will be 2 years on New Years Day.

Still using an ecig though, so not sure what, if any, long term damage that could be doing, but besides the fat, I feel healthier

I'd like to join this pl., but BF % is more of the target for me as my problem is the old beer gut, rather than anywhere else. I got down to 11st 12lbs and 13% just before xmas. Amazing what a difference a week makes. Next year xmas is cancelled.

In my bid to eat healthier and still feel satisfied/full, I've bought myself a soup maker with some of my brothers Christmas money, to make life easier.

If anyone is thinking of getting one, then Asda Direct is currently the cheapest at £40 for the Morphy Richards one.

I picked mine up yesterday and will be popping to Lidl for some ingredients later. Can't wait to try it out

If anyone is looking for some recipes for either a soup maker or for the saucepan, then I've found some nice ones here .

No change here. Diet starts today

Diet starts properly for me today too. I've cut back a bit this past week and have lost 3 lbs, so am happy with that for now

Unsure if the scales were on the xmas drink but weighed in today at 16st 12lbs but have been ill with flu for a week or so.
Very much doubt i have dropped that much but can use it as my start weight if need be. Aim by the 29th of Jan is 16st 8lbs now.
