For those attending Sunday, if you'd like to meet up around 7.30am for a very small convoy in, then let me know, otherwise, I'll just drive straight in.

If we meet up, we'll be meeting at the Cholmondely Arms pub car park.

The Cholmondeley Arms is on the crossroads of Bickerton Road and Wrenbury Road on the main A49.

I'm not sure where our stand is yet, or if we've been joined up with the Italian Themed Village that will be there, but I should know on Monday.

Still not sure where out pitch is yet Been waiting for an email regarding this, but still nothing yet.

If anyone else fancies attending this, then I've just checked our discount code and at the moment, it's still working

It brings a day ticket down from £30 to £15 and it's still showing as free child entry instead of the normal £7.

It's too late for them to send out tickets, but you would be put onto a 'collection list' and your tickets would be available for pick up at any of the gates.

Perfect Father's day out for all you Dads out there and if you're not a Dad, then an even better day, as you'll have no kids pestering you

I ordered my tickets on Monday afternoon and they arrived the following morning!

Pretty cheesed off with this event this year They are charging £20 entry for the Friday, when it's always been free
I don't see why I should pay £20 just to set our gazebo up and sort our pitch out
I've had to email asking for car passes, when they've always been on the ball and sent out well in advance.
I still have no idea where our pitch is
Autoitalia never got back to me, so I have no idea if we are with them, or have our own pitch next to them, etc, etc.

If it wasn't for my Grandsons looking forward to this every year, I'd be considering dropping it after this year

Mike and Matt, our pitch is on Block B, B19. The Alfa Romeo's will be next to you on B20.

As you enter the field, Block A will be ahead of you, until you reach the bridge, then it becomes Block B

Don't think I'll be there till around 10 as I've got to pick up my dad and I'll have the kids with me too.
Plus England are playing on Saturday night so I'll have to go round to my bro's place and get him out of bed! lol

Ok, but just be prepared for them not to allow you access to the car club area.
They say that they can't guarantee entry if arrival is after 8am.

They aren't too strict on a Friday, as the event is quite quiet, but I don't know how you'll get on, on Sunday.

I've never been late, so I don't know how strict they really are.

Had a very entertaining Friday night with the beer, started drinking at 3:00 pm but peaked about 7:00, and just about remembered watching Status Quo. Saturday was great with everything going on, although (note to self) don't go on a flight simulator with a very big hangover, just about held on to it.

Count me in for next year.

Apologies for not coming over to say hi.
We had planned to pop over on the way back to the cars before we left but my dad was suffering with his back,
so we went straight back to the cars to get him home.

Great to meet some other forum members at such a good event. There was some fantastic motoring machinery on show - favourite bit - the tune-up area at the start line. Not sure what the octane rating of the air was, but it adds a new meaning to the term petrol head.
I was also just a hay bale away from the 67' Brabham when it hit the chicane and lost a wheel. Driver was fine....just looked gutted as they recovered it onto the low loader.
