To clarify on classic policies... #1480789

A quick one if i may...

When i sold my Coupe 3 years ago (or so) I was under the impression at the time i wouldn't be able to put it on a classic policy and run a daily (it was a '97 R reg).

Currently I run a boggo standard (and so very, very dull) Focus as my daily on standard cheap insurance, and the Midget on a classic policy, fully comp with commuting up to 3k a year, for £97 a year.

If I were to get another Coupe, again of the same vintage (R Reg, 97) would this qualify in any way for a classic/future classic policy?
I'm just trying to gather the facts as if i get the opportunity to to buy said car, I'll neeed the facts to present to the wife when she ultimately says no, i can't have it... frown

With regards to details; 34 yr old, rural postcode, full no claims on the daily (13 yrs?), obviously no ncb on the Midget. No endorsments either, surprisingly...

Yes you can.

My coupe is insured with Adrian flux on classic policy, limited milage, crap postcode, stored elsewhere, also crap postcode. 13 years ncb but none used on the coop, all for a smidge over £200.

Hope that helps you convince her!
