loving my bravo, miss the coupe, but still have an eye out.
well today I drove to Eastbourne, filled up after 2 miles of leaving the house, then on the way there i get loss of power under 2k revs, bit like the handbrakes on, like it all day. drove home, seemed to sort its self out, now back to no power. not smoke so ruled out turbo, any suggestions?
Ive seen EGR threads, is it that? just to add, no engine warning lights are on.
thanks guys in advance

Petrol or diesel?
If it's the diesel then take it out for a run and thrash it (few miles on m-way or similar at 80 in 4th should do it), this often cleans up sooting in various places. You may see black smoke as whatnot are aiming to do is get the exhaust hot enough so the egr opens and deposits it's carbon contents to be burnt.
Petrol, errr...... Battery off and ecu reset??

I haven't got a code reader, but I'm going to have the under tray off in a while and check out all the hoses. Seems to be just long turbo lag.

My 120 is a mjet, but a 1.6 diesel.
I would.say boost peak but only if it's flat at the top end too. My coupe did have a low torque issue once, turned out the vac pipe to the dv was damaged.

I've had a couple of the 8v turbo diesels in Stilos and they suffer from intermittent boost sensor issues - mainly because the sensor is just in front of the left front wheel so it gets soaked if you go through a puddle which leaves the sensor a little, er, sensitive. The loss of power usually only lasts a few seconds though.
