Tonight's game will be much tougher to call.

On paper, the Netherlands should have enough class all over the pitch to beat Argentina, but (and it's a big one), Messi is absolutely good enough to win a World Cup on his own.

I think Holland's tactics tonight will be to kick the hell out of Lionel from the get go.

If tonight's semi ends up with 22 players still on the pitch I'll be very surprised.

I reckon the netherlands will win (2-1) . Watching the second last game (argentina) cant remember the team but they had 3 players marking Messi at all times . Van Persie and Robin up front are great .

Looks as though RVP might be missing.

Robben is a great player when he's falling down theatrically and I agree that I think the Dutch will win.

I really do think it's going to be a nasty affair though.

I thought the game last night was going to be a messy affair. The teams of both Germany and Brazil can be quite, tactical, in their application of tackling, as can teams of most top football nations. There were some signs right near the start with that man Muller, the German Robben, getting involved but then Germany scored, and Brazil just seemed to give up crazy

I think tonight will be a different game to yesterday. Extra time and penalties anyone?

Robben will be trying for penalties for the full game.
It seems that Tom Daily has been giving him diving lessons pre world cup.
Good player but a cheat!

Classic World Cup semi final; cagey and ultimately dull. Will be decided by a mistake, a rare bit of brilliance or... Penalties.

What a load of cobblers.

I suspect the final will be equally dull. Messi to get injured before half time, Germany to start another tap-in practice session in the second.

Argentina were my pre-tournament favourites, but I'd be staggered if they beat Germany.

Couldn't agree more.

It's been a very exciting world cup in my opinion.

Alot of surprises, I never would have guessed Spain out first, Brazil getting schooled 7-1, Belgium doing as well as they did, Suarez having a snack mid game (well I didn't think anybody saw it coming) Germany however are no surprise, they play like they've had the same team for decades! Germany to win 2-1

It's said that after Nigeria was eliminated from the world cup the Nigerian captain personally offered to refund all the expenses of fans that traveled to Brazil.

He said he just needs their bank accounts details and pin numbers to complete the transaction.

Very evenly-matched game; Germany a lot of possession, but Argentina dangerous on the break. Poor finishing on both sides and a bit of niggle. Nice!

Both, Joe. Not fabulous at all times, but a decent World Cup compared with most I've watched.

Yeah I have really enjoyed the World Cup this time around, been some great attacking football as opposed to defensive!

So sad it's over the misses is chuffed it's over though and so we (because it's important we spend time together watching pointless program's I don't want to watch)
just spent the evening watching eastenders and about 30 minutes of the Netflix menu before she has decided to call it a night rolleyes
Can't wait for the euros lol
