Claire and I had a great day yesterday, weather was a little overcast but the rain held off.

Seeing the two Lancasters and the Vulcan fly certainly made my day, we'd happily go again smile

Shot of the club stand with a tiny Vulcan flying in the distance, for the older members yes you'll need your glasses to see it, I did laugh

Further shots of the day here.

Thoroughly enjoyed the event on Sunday and although there were no runway runs the air displays more than made up for this. Some photos here including PeteP relaxing in the sun, thanks for your company.

Cooperman,

Why no runway runs? Do you mean just us Coopsters on Sunday or was the whole thing 'cancelled'? Just adding to my Brooklands paranoia! We had a good time on Saturday except for more ineptitude regarding exit from the show! (What if there had been a major incident?)

Just us with no runway runs Chris. The others went on as normal.

We must all do our part for the planet.
I unplugged a row of electric cars that nobody was using.

Thanks for the edit Pete, I think I worked out the issue but had to go out.

Was there last year (Sunday) when the airshow was a partial washout. Would have liked to have seen the tandem Lancaster flypast this year.

Great day, albeit the occasional chill. Got lots of photo's which I'll sort out soon enough. Getting out was just plain stupid. If I followed the correct way, we would have been queued far longer than doing a 180 turn and cutting across the grass cutting out a queue of 100+ cars.

As for the conspiracy theory about us, I've read on Pistonheads that a few people also had their applications 'lost' and speaking to someone I used to work with, they had cocked up on their applications as well.
