I have some Prada Spec 2's on my 17" rims with 25mm hubcentric spacers which are a great dry track/road tyre but scary in the wet; or some Goodyear Eagle F1's (V-groove) on standard 16" rims which are a good all rounder, decisions, decisions........

Please help me decide

I'm also considering taking out the back seats and carrying the 16" wheels as a spare set if it is wet?

No it's normally earlier in the year.

Hot, but it's Spa so the place has it's own weather system so you'll be burning in the pits but then you'll get rained on all the way over by the Medical centre.

Anything track rated as road tyres are eaten in only a few laps.

If, like me, anyone hadn't got round to booking their ferry, www.aferry.com are selling crossings Dover - Dunkirk go 08:00 Friday return 20:00 Sunday at £50 return.

That's slightly annoying having already booked it a couple of weeks ago direct through DFDS and it was £60 return

you can have my old worn out pads mate , they make a lovely grinding noise when you put your foot on the brake but your have to pay for delivery

Alexis, when you booked did you just get a simple conformation email with a bar code? i.e. An e-ticket of sorts? Looks very plain!
Or did they send you any thing?

I didn't get anything sent but copied the booking form and was sent an e-mail that I have printed off .

You just need the reference number Pondman, I'm sure they have number plate recognition so you probably don't even need that.

as mike said , its all on the reg of the car and the booking reference number , don't forget petrol money too

I think we still need breathalyser kits for the transit through France, although I seem to remember reading somewhere that was being scrapped.

And don't forget a credit card to buy fuel at the track, there are none manned / cash pumps

and charge the earth for fuel
