I know - don't let Mrs MRS see that list! Fortunately MRS Junior (Hughie) is now large enough to ride the Variado - I just need to ship it back to Scotland. The Cayo is lent to a friend but I'm getting back shortly. Living in two countries is a bit of an excuse. I think if all the MRS family bikes were gathered in one place, there would be 12 bikes (and my daughter doesn't have a bike!)

For weather i find Raintoday.co.uk excellent for tracking rain clouds. Have delayed or modified my commute to miss the cloud path successfully in the past.

A big dose of MTFU required at table 7 wink

In all seriousness, I find the prospect of rain far worse than the reality

Indeed but departing my come by 30 minutes to stay drier, and more importantly keep my bike cleaner, it has been very useful.

Starting a ride in the rain is always hard, but being rained in once you are in full flow dies not seem to matter. Human psyche is very odd.

Today was my first commute in and wasn't too bad considering it was 1 degree this morning. Took a couple of miles for things to start to warm up, but no frozen hands or feet, so everything is working as it should be.

I think the ride back will be more interesting since it will be dark smile

The return trip is uphill too laugh I think the Lezyne front light will be ok to be seen by but on some of the unlit roads around Slyfield may be a challenge if you get up any speed.

My commute is tomorrow, had to abort today's commute as working off site grr

Only slightly and that's between Mayford and Slyfield. The Lezyne is pretty powerful on it's brightest setting as tested out of the bedroom window
